Taking a Professional Headshot at Home

1) Select simple, but professional attire. Neutral colors, avoid patterns.

2) Go outside, find a simple and clean surrounding area with natural light.

3) Put your phone in portrait mode.

4) Take your phone, and turn it horizontally. If you have a friend available, have them take the photo for you. If you are taking the photos yourself, find a way to prop up your phone.

5) If taking the photos by yourself, use your phone's camera timer setting.

6) Turn shoulders slightly, turn head to face the camera. Maintain good posture.

7) Take 5 photos of yourself smiling.

8) Take 5 photos of your self thinking, but not smiling.

9) Review the images. Make sure they are in focus.

10) Email the photos to us at uncreative@c-istudios.com for finalization.
